POV : The goal of this project is to design a collector’s edition conceptual cookbook. The umbrella topic for this cookbook is comfort food. I wanted to represent a situation where people usually need comfort food to feel better, so I chose the theme of how to get over a breakup. I wanted this book to have recipes that would make the audience feel good after leaving a relationship and also empowering them to know their worth and how to move on to a new chapter in their lives. My target audience is millennials. That’s why I decided to use icons to represent the food and appeal to app culture, and vibrant colors to bring excitement to the book.
